About Inezona

Ines Brodbeck, aka INEZONA, is a fascinating musical personality. She has a unique mix of creativity and individuality conquers the stage. Like a desert rose she exudes grace with a hint of somberness. INEZONA is cinematic and would definitely fit into a David Lynch or Tarantino film. Her music echoes influences such as Ennio

Morricone, Chelsea Wolfe, Lhasa, Sophie Hunger and PJ Harvey. Growing up with classical music, she studied Latin percussion at the Music Academy

Basel, which shows her connection to Cuba, her father's country of origin. During her studies she was active in several theater productions, including at the Theater Basel. As a multi-instrumentalist and singer, she has performed in Switzerland and internationally among others with the cumbia band Jaro Milko and the Cubalkanics, the International Female Musicians Collective, with XIXA from Arizona, Cultuerscape Basel or in a project at the KKL with Saul Williams. In 2020 she was artist in residence at the Kaserne, Basel. Unfortunately, the pandemic prevented collaboration in Colombia or Argentina, but the unique "Molinosessions"

emerged locally. Songwriting is her great passion; her music is cinematic and poetic. Her self-taught guitar playing and her individual singing style are formative. INEZONA is not

interested in commercial perfection, but follows her intuition and Authenticity. In 2017 she found her second home in the Arizona desert and worked with the

musician Gabriel Sullivan and other People fro the Calexico dust on her album "NOW". Since then she has had its musical character further developed and numerous shows in Switzerland, Germany and Italy completed. In 2022 she published her one woman production "A Self Portrait", 2023 the Album Heartbeat"

and in Spring 2025 the EP Calmame" INEZONA received radio airplays in Switzerland and abroad, and continues to do so today. Her performances, including at the Willisau Jazz Festival the Rote Fabrik, Zurich or the Po'd Ring, Biel show that she is suitable for larger stages while her

flexible formation can also enchant smaller locations.
